Elrese J. Patterson, 74, of Richmond, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 in a Charlottesville hospital.
Born February 6, 1938 in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of the late Emmett L. and Viola White Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Patterson of Richmond; one daughter, Natalie Patterson; one brother, James Jones, Sr.; a devoted niece, Kitty Burton; and a devoted friend, Mary Hunt.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Zion Union Baptist Church with Reverend James Tyree officiating.
