Evelyn J. Bennett, 88, died suddenly and peacefully on June 16, 2012. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, bowling and bridge, but she was most recognized for her sense of humor and for her sweet and loving spirit.

She was preceded in death 11 months earlier by her husband of 61 years, George Bennett, and is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Bennett and Cindy Crounse.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 20 from 4:00 – 5:30 PM with a memorial service following at 5:30 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg.
