Mrs. Florence Draper Robertson Cave

CAVE, Florence Draper Robertson, 89, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Rocky Mount, NC. Mrs. Cave was born on December 27, 1922 in Warren County, NC to the late Thomas Hailey Robertson and Willie Florence Gooch Robertson. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Richmond where she lived for most of her adult life. She retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company with 38 years of service. Preceding Mrs. Cave in death along with her parents are her husband, James Anderson Cave and her brother, Hailey Gooch Robertson. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Robertson Dillard of Warren County, NC; three nieces, Linda D. Liguori and husband, Ray of Winston Salem, NC, Evelyn D. Horton and husband, James of Whitakers, NC and Iris D. Weeks and husband, Jerry of Princeton, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will held on Thursday, August 9 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
