Florence Jack, 91, of Hopewell, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Jack. Mrs. Jack was a retired Registered Nurse at John Randolph Medical Center. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Hopewell and when she lived in Covington, VA she was a member of Edgemont Associate Reform Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Jack was a graduate of John Tyler Community College and a member of the Virginia Nurses Association. She is survived by her daughter Frances W. Jack and many second cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with service to follow at 7:00PM Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel 214 N. 6th Ave. Hopewell, VA. Also the family will receive friends 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Nicely Funeral Home 405 Alleghany St. Clifton Forge, VA, with a precession to leave at 1:30PM.
