Frances Elizabeth Williams, 92, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 24, 2012. Frances was a wonderful mother, Grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, King S. Williams, Jr. and three sisters, Texie, Virginia and Margaret Jacobson; two brothers, Aubrey, Jr. and Edward Garrett. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce W. Carter; son, Howard S. Williams (Barbara); two sisters, Helen Baker and Mable Burleson; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was a retired employee of the Henrico County Public Schools in the cafeteria department. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts. She was a lifelong church member and sang in the choir of Fort Lee Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Road Richmond, VA 23231. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Bereavement Committee at Fort Lee Baptist Church or the Samaritan Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
