DeShazo, Frances Grudzinksi, 79, of Ashland, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by the love of her life; Jobe King DeShazo, Jr. Frances was a retired nurse from MCV hospitals and co-founder of J. K. DeShazo, Jr. Roofing and Son. She is survived by her son, Joe King DeShazo III (Butch) and wife Sandy; daughter, Doris DeShazo (Dottie); half-brother, George Brooks and bother-in-law, Robert DeShazo; grandchildren, Nicholle Anderson and husband Chris, Christopher Malicz and wife Alycia and Mathew DeShazo; and great-grandchildren, Cassie Anderson, Blake Anderson and Gaebryel Malicz. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Interment will be at Fork Church Cemetery.
