Frances Janett Sullivan Martin passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Frances was born to Mary and John Sullivan on November 19, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland and son, Ernie. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and love, her children; Cleveland (Sue) and Janet; grandson, Keenan (Nikki) and great grandchildren, Keenan and Kayden; granddaughter, Sarah and great grandchildren, Destiny, Austin and Hunter; and friend, Mike. She will be remembered always for her kindness and big heart. The family would like to thank Hospice of Virginia for their wonderful staff that helped Frances in these last four months. Especially, Lashell for your laughter and songs, you made things a lot easier. The family will receive friends Monday, September 3, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S Laburnum Ave. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 am in Washington Memorial Park.
