Napier, Genevieve "Janie" Kniesche, 83, of Doswell, passed away on January 18, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Albert "Buddy" Napier; 3 children, Cecilia Gayle and her husband Wayland, Bernard Napier and Constance Mitchell and her husband Jeff; 8 grandchildren, Travis Gayle, Ginger Wood (Patrick), Gennifer Calabrese (Greg), Charlotte Green (Donald), Karen Horton, Mary Martin (Timmy), Maranda Napier (Jason Marshal) and Rita Blankenbaker (Eric); 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Wood, Niasya Horton, Anna Calabrese, Susanna Wood and Caleb Martin. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Earnest and George Kniesche. She was a proud, loving wife, mother & nanny. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with interment in Woodland Cemetery.
