George Edward White, Jr., age 75 died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family on February 20, 2013. He was a native of Ash, North Carolina and had made his home in Virginia for the past 43 years. He worked for E. W. Muller as a master road builder and supervisor until his retirement. George was a member of the Shack Hunt Club of Ark for many years. Hunting and fishing gave him much joy.

Our beloved Daddy and Papa leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Patricia Walker (Kenny), Donna Dutton (Ricky), Sandy Booker (J. C.) and Cindy White (Connie); one son, Wendell White (Betsy); and twelve grandchildren, David, Michael, Alaina, Benjamin, Hannah, Taylor, Samantha, Joshua, Crystal, Adam, Isaac and Jacob; and his loving companion, Nora Wayne.
Our family wishes to thank all the healthcare professionals that cared for our beloved father and supported us during this sad time.
