Gladys Kay Satterwhite, 89, of Beaverdam died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Born in Caroline, she was the widow of George Berkeley Satterwhite, Jr.. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Camden of Ashland and Kay Hickman and her husband, Larry of Montpelier; brother, Gordon Kay of Doswell; sister, Margaret Satterwhite of Beaverdam; five grandchildren, Travis Wade Hall of Arlington, Brandon Lee Hall of Kileen, TX, Amanda Kay Hall of Ashland; Katelin Berkeley Hickman and Bradley Scott Hickman both of Montpelier. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Berkeley Satterwhite.
The family will receive friends 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Wed. Feb. 29 at the funeral home with Rev. Howard Germany officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery, Ruther Glen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to County Line Baptist Church Cemetery, 3461 Ladysmith Road, Ruther Glen, VA. 22546.
