Hazel Walker Tipton, age 89, of Sweetwater, passed away on Monday December 10, 2012. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater. A well known seamstress at Powers Dress Shop, and the Sweetwater Sock Shop for many years. Preceded in death by her husband: Ardell Tipton, parents: Thomas and Cora Wilson Walker, brother: H.T. Walker. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law: Thomas "Tom" and Renee Tipton, granddaughter: Morgan Tipton, all of Sweetwater, sister: Helen Whitener, of Cartersville, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 12, 2012, at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Johnny Carr, Pastor: Tony Collins, and Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
