Mrs. Hella Starnitzki Lamb

Too late we discover distant cousins who we could have learned so much of our family history.
A grandfather of Hella was Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Starnitzki:
Born 19 November 1864, Spahlitz, Kreis Öls, Schlesien.
Died in 1948, Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg.
He was the author of a manuscript where he documented his search for his family's roots: "Familiengeschichte des Geschlechts Sternitzke aus dem Kreis Trebnitz, Schlesien". In his manuscript he traced his family tree to Silesia in the middle 16th century. My transcription of

In meinem Leben spielte Tante Hella immer eine sehr wichtige Rolle. Ich hatte als Kind immer Heimweh nach ihr und konnte sie leider nur sehr selten sehen. Ich habe ihr viel zu verdanken.

Hella will be greatly missed by all of the staff and the other participants at Lucy Corr. She was a bright light to us that will not be replaced. She made us laugh, she made us cry and we are all better for knowing her. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of her life.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother. I remember her as a wonderful person. We enjoyed many great coffees together and lively evenings at the Deutsche Damenklub. We will miss her infectious laughter and sense of fun.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family at this time of great loss. I remember when your father first brought her into our lives when he visited each of his ten brothers and sisters to meet the woman he had fallen in love with and would marry and have a family. She has always been such a delight with her humorous personality and wonderful stories. Aunt Hella was loved by many and will surely be missed.

Gay and I are praying for you and your family over the loss of your mom. I lost my mom back in June of this year. It was bitter sweet. I feel she was ready to go and be with the Lord. Her quality of life was just
terrible. LIke your mom, we miss her, but there will always be wonderful
