HALL, Ida Mae, age 104, of Ashland, Va., widow of Melvin F. Hall, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. Mrs. Hall was a former employee of Miller & Rhoads. She was preceded in death by sons-in-law, Dr. Ellis Zuckerman and James McKenzie Brock; and grandson, Gregory Malcolm Brock. She is survived by two daughters, Viola H. Zuckerman and Evelyn H. Brock, both of Ashland; a grandson, Gary McKenzie Brock (Jeanne) of Bon Air; two great-granddaughters, Jessica Leigh Brock Spence (Michael) of Richmond and Treffery Alexa McKenzie Brock of Bon Air. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 11 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Ashland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, August 12 at Nelsen Chapel. Private interment will follow.
