Ila Jean "Jeanie" McQuillan, of Williamsburg, passed away on November 8, 2012. Born in Ohio on January 15, 1940, Jeanie was a resident of Hampton, Va. for over fifty years. She worked at Sears Roebuck for twenty years, and retired in 1985. She then became President of Oltimers, Inc., a decorating and remodeling company that she and her husband, Richard "Mac" operated. Then came another retirement and a lifelong dream of breeding and raising Arabian horses. In 1989 Oltimers, Inc. bought a large horse boarding stable on Big Bethel Road in Hampton. They ran a family-oriented stable, giving riding lessons and having horse shows. They sold the stable in 2002. Jeanie stayed busy with all her arts and crafts projects. In 2009, they moved to their ultimate retirement home in Williamsburg, VA.

Jeanie is survived by her husband, Richard; a sister, Donna Wortman in Ohio; a son, Mike McComb in Michigan; three stepsons, Ricky McQuillan, Nelson McQuillan and his wife, Jenny; and James McQuillan and his wife, Sherri, all of the Tidewater area. She is also survived by several grandchildren and one very special great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Friends and family are also welcome to come by the home and celebrate her life. Online condolences may be expressed at
