JONES, Irving L., 80, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barbara Kay "Kitty" Jones; children, Starlet Knight, Larry I. Jones and Daryl I. Jones (Jill); seven grandchildren; two brothers, Lee and Bobby Jones; sister, Barbara Edwards. Irving retired from the FAA at Richmond International Airport.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 26 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, August 27 at the Varina Church of the Nazarene, 5350 Darbytown Road, Henrico, VA 23231. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
