Ivory McNew Plummer, 72, of Sutherland passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Plummer was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Plummer. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Collins, two daughters, Cynthia Collins and her husband, Billy Tuma, Deborah Archibald and her husband, Dave, eight grandchildren, Steven Kelban, Kevin Collins, David, Jamie, Reba, Ronald, Dustin and Keirsten Archibald, three great grandchildren, Nina, Bubba and Zoie Kelban, two sisters, Betty Southall and Phyllis Cunningham, brother, Bobby McNew, step-sister, Carolyn Evans, her grand dog, Ginger Collins and her beloved pet, Baby, also many family and friends. She was a loving Mom to so many and a friend to everyone she met. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, August 21, 2010 with Rev. Jonathan Waits officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
