James Edward Johnson of Hustle, Virginia departed this life on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Bowling Green Health Care Center. He was born August 25, 1930 to the late Joseph and Everline Johnson. He attended public school in Essex County, Virginia. He was baptized and became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hustle, Virginia at an early age. "Edward" as he was known, leaves to mourn, brother, Malchia Johnson; sister-in-law, Gladys of Bowling Green, Virginia; eighteen nieces; thirteen nephews, and a host of great friends. God saw the road was getting rough, The hills so hard to climb, So he gently closed his loving eyes and whispered, "Peace Be Thine"
