James Thomas Williams, 88, of Chester passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 in the John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Stafford. James was a member of the Local Union 388and a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII. He is survived by his wife, Nora Lee Williams, two sons, Allen Williams and his wife, Julia, Roger Williams, brother, William R. Williams and his wife, Courtney, nine grandchildren, Roger Williams, Jr., Tammy Williams Wells, David Williams, Sherry Williams Burton, Michael Williams, Susan Williams Williamson, Allen Williams, Jr., Chad Williams and Shane Williams, thirteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, April 1, 2011.
