Jennifer Hale Chrisman, 63, of Sandston, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 11, 2012. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, David Crockett Chrisman; her parents, Richard and Alice Hale; two sons, Timothy Blake Chrisman and his wife Keri Shepherd Chrisman, Micah Whitney Chrisman and his wife Jessi Stransky Chrisman; one sister, Francis Hale Landin; one brother, Waverly Mitchell Hale; two grandchildren, Kaylee Brooke Chrisman and Emily Noelle Chrisman. She was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from Virginia Tech, certified by the SBC NAMB as an English as a Second Language Teacher Trainer, employed by the Henrico County Adult Education, children's Sunday School Teacher, piano teacher, and needlework and other crafts, Bible study and related activities. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 5270 Charles City Rd., Henrico, VA 23231. Interment following in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, North American Mission Board, International Mission Board, and the Henrico County Adult Education Center, 201 E. Nine Mile Rd., Highland Springs, VA 23075 in Jennifer's name.
