Shifflett, Jerry P, 74, of Sebring, FL and formerly of Sandston, passed away on Sunday, 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary I. Shifflett. Jerry is survived by son, Jerry Jr.; daughters, Cary (Jeff), Mary "Tinka" (Bud), Terriann (Steve), Cheryl, Teresa (Trey), Chris, Bonnie (Bullet) and Tracy (Jimmy); 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, David and Arthur and sisters, Roberta and Judy. Jerry retired from Allied Chemical. He loved listening to music, riding motorcycles and playing horseshoes. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association 4600 Cox Road, St. 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060-6708.
