Jeter N. "Buster" Durrett, Jr., 65, of Ladysmith died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Ladysmith, He had retired from VDOT.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Jean Durrett; his mother, Mildred Durrett; four children, Jeter N. Durrett, III, April Lynn McGuire and her husband, Michael, Billy Lee Conley, Jr. and his wife, Myra, and Michael Wayne Conley and his wife, Melissa; four sisters, Judy Richardson, Barbara Bylilly, Ellen Thomas and Polly Durrett; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
