Joseph Paul LeBlond, 51 of Inglis, FL, died peacefully on March 27, 2012 at Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto, FL, as the result of an automobile accident.
Joe was survived by his loving wife, Marlene, daughters Jasmine Eleanor, Shawna Colling and her husband Mark; sons Cody Sherrod, Joey Jenkins, Dylan and Alex, sisters Patti DiMaio and her husband Nick; and Shelley Davis and her husband, John.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cyprien and Eleanor Elizabeth LeBlond.
Joe was born in Walnut Creek, CA on November 15, 1960, although he lived his fist childhood years in London, England with his parents and sisters, where he developed quite the British accent. Returning to the States in 1966, he eventually moved with his parents to Florida in 1971, where he remained for the rest of his life.
Joe had been known for many things, but some of his most prominent attributes was never-ending loving generosity and unselfishness; he would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it—no matter what the cost of effort or time. He was a friend to everyone he met, but most especially to his family, whom he enjoyed spending time with so much. He was also looked up to for knowledge and support by many people in the family, especially the kids, as he had a distinct wisdom and level of intelligence that not many could match.
Joe was always known to be a hard worker. He worked as a manager at Napa Auto Parts for over 20 years where he always enjoyed helping his customers. Always eager to expand his knowledge, he attended St. Petersburg College to learn paralegal work.
Joe and his wife, Marlene, enjoyed a loving relationship, sharing their love and support with many foster children.
Joe will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
Services will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church of Mascotte on March 31, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.
Interment will follow at Empire Cemetery in Groveland.
Special thanks to Citrus County Hospice House in Lecanto, especially Andrea Livingston, for the kindnesses and care. Thanks to family and friends for the love and support.
