Gloucester: Joyce Garza, 66, died February 2, 2012 at her home. Joyce was an intricate part of Maximum All Star Xplosion Cheer, Inc. She had been the Director and Treasurer since 2006. Joyce has touched many young peoples' lives. Joyce had a green thumb for growing flowers and plants and she loved to cook. She enjoyed facebook, and a good conversation. She was one of a kind, considered herself "an old hippie" and will always be loved and missed by her family and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Sidney and Sarah Fischer and son, Robert Hodges.
She is survived by:
Daughters: Marilyn Guadalupe and husband Fred
Marcia Turley and husband Rob
Elizabeth Kimberly Garza
Brother: Eric Fischer
5 grandchildren
9 great granddaughters
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Services and inurnment will be private.
