West, Joyce Hall, 75, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at her home in Glen Allen surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Clarence Hall. She is survived be her husband of 58 years, Raymond "Bernard" West; her children, Conde Schwartz and husband Robbie of Ashland, Betty Epps and husband Ronnie of Dunnsville, Pete West and wife Charmaine of Ashland and John West and friend Lisa Cooke of Littleton, NC.; 6 grandchildren that knew her as "Nanny West", Christy Schwartz, Craig Epps, Wesley Schwartz, Whitney Schwartz, Scott Epps and Kacey West; and one brother, Clarence Hall, Jr. Joyce enjoyed a passion for cooking, baking, and collecting cookbooks that will be missed. The family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Wash. Hwy., Ashland, VA from 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. The service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11AM with interment to follow at Winn's Baptist Church in Glen Allen.
