Joyce West Jacobs, 72, of Hopewell passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her mother, Odell West. She is survived by her husband, Douglas P. Jacobs, a son, Kenny E. Jones and his wife, Gloria, two daughters, Diane Jones Moorefield and her husband, Joseph Jr., Vicky Sue Jacobs, four grandchildren, Jennifer Jones Fickler, Ashley, Rachel, and Page Moorefield, a great grandchild, Trey Moore, two brothers, Mike and Wilford West, a sister, Josephine West. Fields. Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements by the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA.
