Katherine Jordan Fenstermacher

Gloucester Point: Katherine Jordan Fenstermacher, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 25th, 2012. Daughter of William and Zela Jordan, she was a longtime member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir for 77 years, having joined when she was 12 years old. She loved to do crossword puzzles, needlework, shop, play golf, and spend time with her family and dear friends. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert "Red" Jordan.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold; two sons, William and his wife Ruth, and Scott and his wife Perrien; four grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Rick, Katherine, Phillip, and Douglas; sister-in-law Katherine Jordan; and many extended family members in the area.
Funeral services officiated by Reverend Arthur L. Wolz, Jr. will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Bethany United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones Friday, January 27, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
