“Kat and I worked for Cash Express. She did the driving when we traveled to Goldsboro for business meetings. I think about her often.

Mrs. Kathryn L. "Kat" Fryer, 61, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, after a brief illness. A native of Cloquet, MN. She was the daughter of the late Marguerite Southern Hildebrand and Curtis R. Hildebrand. She was a longtime resident of CO and CA, until moving to Craven County in 1989. Kat, as she was affectionately known, was an office manager for several local businesses. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, crafts, travel, and spending time with friends.
A reception celebrating Kat's life will be a pot luck on Wednesday, February 27th, at 7pm at the home she shared with her husband, Phil.
Kat is survived by her husband, Phillip E. Fryer, of Havelock, NC; sons, Jeffrey J. Hildebrand, and Michael A. Glatroudakis. She also leaves behind her brothers, Erick Hildebrand, his wife Karen, and son Anthony, of Bonney Lake, WA; Jimmy Ray Hildebrand, and his wife Laurie, of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Skipper Hildebrand.
