Almarode, Kay I., 81, of Hanover, passed away on December 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Almarode and her parents,
Carrol and Fae Imus. She is survived by six step children; five sons, Tom, Mike, Scott, Kevin and Jon Almarode; and one step daughter, Karen Maddox; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and special friends and neighbors. Kay was a retired executive assistant. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and playing bridge. The service and burial will take place on Monday, January 7, 2013 in Elwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the local SPCA.
