Larry A. Arbeiter, 66, of Freedom, passed away January 1, 2013 at his home. He was born December 2, 1946 in Evansville to Victor and Evelyn (Bailey) Arbeiter.
He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Evelyn (Bailey) Arbeiter, and a brother, Kenneth Arbeiter.
He was survived by his wife of 24 years, Dawn Arbeiter (Van Fossan); children, Kim Overby (Marty) and Tom Arbeiter (Joy); sister, Connie Nicholls (Mark); 7 grandchildren, Jessica Darr (Zachary), Emily Nash (John), Jerrod Overby, Brock Arbeiter, Sarah Overby, Mason Arbeiter, and Wyatt Arbeiter; 2 great grandchildren, Kegan Darr and Hayden Darr; nephew, Josh Nicholls (Crystal), niece, Candace Berens (Brian), nephew, Kurt Van Fossan, and niece, Alysaa Arbeiter.
Larry served in the United States Air Force and is a member of the American Legion. He is retired from AT&T/ Indiana Bell and is a member of the Freedom Community Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Freedom Community Church of the Nazarene with visitation from 10am-2pm at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Military Rites will be performed by the Spencer American Legion and VFW.
West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
