Kelley, Lillian Violet, 92, of Doswell, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James E. Kelley. She is survived by a sister, Beatrice Franck; her children, daughter, Thelma Adkins (Clarence); a son, Dick Kelley; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kelley retired from American Tobacco Co with over 40 years of service and was a member of Taylorsville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, where funeral services will be held 1:00 Wednesday, March 7, 2012 with burial in Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Taylorsville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 129, Doswell, VA 23047.
