Lillie "Louise" Atkins, 83 of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. Atkins and son, James Taylor. She was retired from AT&T and a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Larry Atkins (Teresa), Danny Atkins (Tina), and Allen "Bubba" Atkins; daughters, Mary "Sissy" Taylor, Pat Worrell, Judy Atkins, and Diane Atkins; brother, Ray Simpson; and sister, Rosa Simpson; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231, where a service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
