Linda "Lin" Romesburg, 70, of James City County, and formerly of Newport News, VA, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Thelma Mahallick.
For over 20 years, Lin was a food expeditor at Busch Gardens. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and bowling, as well as volunteering for several churches around the area.
Lin was devoted to her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Romesburg; daughters, Vonnie James (David) and Lonnie Bogatay (Jonathan); grandchildren, Wesley White, Heather White, Jacob Bogatay and Rachel Bogatay; brothers, Ray Mahallick (Connie) and Lewis Mahallick (Diane); cousins, Joy and John Sawhill, and many other loving cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, with services following at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held privately for the family at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lin's memory to the Olive Branch Christian Church Food Pantry, 7643 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Online condolences may be offered at www.nelsencares.com.
