Lisa Carolyn Davis-Mead "Hush", of Bon Air, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Lawrence Mead. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Matthews; son, Noah Davis; two brothers, Duane Davis and his wife, Faith and Scott Davis and his wife, Arden; one great-aunt, Peggy Horne; a special friend, Jodi Stevens; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd. Amelia, VA 23002. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of The United States, http://www.humanesociety.org/donate/. Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231, in charge of Arrangements.
