Margaret L. Johnston, 87, of Hopewell passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Johnston was a secretary at Fort Lee for thirty years, she was very involved in the Girl Scouts and a very active member of the Saint James Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Virgil S. Johnston, Jr., two daughters, Peggy and Connie Johnston, a grandson, Erik Wesley Johnston, a great granddaughter, Ashley Faith Johnston, two brothers, Michael and Nick Dauenhauer, a sister, Violetta Ward and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Saint James Catholic Church from 6:00 to 8:30 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2011 with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm and where funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, February 2, 2011 with Father Frank Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint James Catholic Church or to the Girl Scouts.
