Marion Marlene Smith, 73, of Hopewell passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan D. Smith, father, Jake Frazier and a brother, Dick Frazier. Marion was a retired money manager of several different race tracks and was an avid animal lover. She is survived by her mother, Mary Frazier, a daughter, Terry Christian and her husband, T.J., a grandson, Brian Hunter and his wife, Debra, four great grandchildren, Candice Lynne Hunter, Kelsie Hunter, Brian Hunter, Jr., Cody James Hunter and step-great granddaughter, Katherine Berry, brother, Jerry Frazier and his wife, Deborah, a sister, Sandra Hare and her husband, Turner, sister-in-law, Pam Frazier and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA.
