Mrs. Mary Chris Bogar

Mary "Chris" Bogar, 66, passed away on December 9, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Quinn. A loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife, she is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin Bogar, Sr.; her children, Jerry Swearengin (Peggy), Tina Swearengin-D'Esposito (Michael); two stepsons, Ronnie and Marvin, Jr.; brothers, Linwood Quinn, of South Carolina, Eddie Quinn (Geraldine), of South Boston, VA; sister, Lillian Quinn (Runt), of Bumpass, VA; grandchildren, Jerry Swearengin, Jr., Dustin Swearengin, Tony D'Esposito, Angela D'Esposito; best friend, Mary Glascock and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231, where a service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment is to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
