Jones, Mary Crone, 95, of Glen Allen, VA, passed away on November 14, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Jones and her son, Clarence J. Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Martha T. Culley and Dian Bean; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Mary was retired from Crawford Manufacturing Co. as an inspector and she was a member of Hunton Baptist Church for over 50 years. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cards.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16th from 4-7 p.m. in the Nelsen Funeral Home-Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where services will be held on Thursday, November 17th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital located at 14236 Post Mill Dr., Midlothian, VA 23113.
