Mary M. Nold passed away on August 3, 2012 at Patriots Colony, Williamsburg, Virginia.

Mary was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She married Max M. Nold in June 1945 and worked alongside him as a secretary for his veterinary clinic in Northwest Ohio. When he joined the USAF, she and their three children were ready for the challenges and adventure. Mary was an exemplary wife and mother. She enjoyed and excelled at oil painting, ceramics and sewing. She spent a lifetime loving her family, friends, and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Max M. Nold, in 2009. She is survived by her daughter Karen A. Nold and husband Robert Croteau of Loveland, CO; sons James B. Nold and wife Sharon of Littleton, NC; William F. Nold and his wife Sarah of Summerville, SC; 9 grandchildren: Joe and wife Lori, Allison, Curtis, William III and wife Caroline, Danny and wife Susan, Sallie, Jeff and wife Pan, Jimmy, and Lea; and 5 great-grandchildren: Eleanor, William IV, Clara, Ginger and Danny Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, August 6 at Patriots Colony in Williamsburg. Services in the Berkeley Community Room will be led by Rev. Katherine T. Gray. She will be buried in Madison Mills, Ohio in October.

In lieu of flowers the family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the charity of your choice in memory of Mary M. Nold.
