Michael G. Davey, 74, of Williamsburg, passed away on July 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Davey.

Michael proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He then worked as a real estate manager for Kraft Foods, retiring after 23 years. A devoted Catholic, Michael was a member of St. Olaf Roman Catholic Church and worked at the church food pantry. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and golfer. He enjoyed refereeing high school football and basketball games. Michael will be remembered most for his bright personality, as well as his devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Pam Davey; sons, Matthew and his wife, Laura, and Michael; daughter, Mary; grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Nathan and Brian; and sisters, Mariann Halvey and Joanne Scott.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2 from 6 – 8:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 3 at St. Olaf Roman Catholic Church, 104 Norge Lane, Williamsburg. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
