Michael (Mike) John Perelli, 75, of Williamsburg and formerly of Galesburg, IL, passed away on July 17, 2012.
For his entire career, Mike was employed as a project manager, retiring from AT & T after more than 30 years of service. Mike proudly served in the Reserves and the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1966 as an Airman and Sergeant. He will be remembered for his love of the Chicago Cubs and his wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his former spouse, Marybeth Kelley; two sons, Todd Perelli and his wife, Whitney; and Matthew Perelli and his wife, Natalie; as well as three grandchildren, Harrison, Gabe, and Cora.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg. Interment will take place at a later date at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd. 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540, in honor of Mike's grandson, Harrison. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nelsencares.com.
