Mildred "Millie" Isner Blau, 74, of Williamsburg, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on January 19, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Originally living in Fairfax, VA, she retired from Boeing after a successful career as a computer specialist.

Millie was preceded in death by her first husband, E. Richard Isner and her second husband, Ronald Blau. She married Ronald later in life, and they enjoyed cooking and traveling, including many trips to the beaches of North Carolina and Maryland. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking them to the beach, swimming and cooking for them. She was a wonderful hostess, always had a reason to have a celebration, and enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. You never left her house empty handed, taking away generous portions of her great cooking or the love she always showed so openly.

She will be greatly missed by her children; son, Mike Isner (Pam) of Manassas, VA; daughter, Sandy Allison (Bruce) of Beaverdam, VA; daughter, Pam Conner (Todd) of Bristow, VA; and daughter, Paula Rodosovich (Bill) of Williamsburg, VA; and her beloved grandchildren, Ashton Allison of Liverpool, England; and Michael and Callie Rodosovich of Williamsburg, VA; her sisters, Jane Faett (Ron); Connie Bayrer (Ted); and Gail Daniels; a brother, Gary Nowell (Vanessa); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her devoted caregivers, Kathy and Debbie; Heritage Commons for their loving support; Riverside Hospice nurses, Megan and Laura; and the many others who impacted her life and the life of her family.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 25 at 1:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nelsencares.com.
