Chenault, Myrtle A., 48, of Bumpass, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Vivian W. Hall; a sister, Flossie Hall; a brother, Vivian Hall, and a step father, James Nicholson. She is survived by her husband, Dwight B. Chenault; a daughter, Heather, Middlebrook (William, "Billy"); a son, Ricky Nelson, Jr. and his fiancé, (Samantha, "Sam"); her mother, Helen Nicholson; two sisters, Kathy Smith (Tony), Virginia Hall (Lee); two brothers, Robert Hall and Alan Hall (Angela); adopted father, Robert Phillips and the children's father and close friend, Rick Nelson Sr. (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews and close friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 6-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Chapel Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Holly Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
