Newport News: Neva Faye Monnoyer, 75, died August 10, 2012. Neva was born on February 22, 1937 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Roy and Wanda McCollister. Along with the love she poured into being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Neva worked outside of the home, as well, in the public school cafeteria as a lunch aide. Neva will be remembered by so many for her legacy of love that she leaves behind to keep her close at heart always.

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Chris Morgan will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
