Patricia "Trish" Drew, died suddenly and tragically in a motorcycle accident November 1, 2012, in Brooksville, Florida. She was born in Malden, MA in 1952 to Lewis and Theresa Drew and grew up in Vermont. She graduated from Harford High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Johnson State College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1990, she moved to Florida and attended Nova, Southeastern Florida University where she earned her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Trish was a licensed mental health counselor in Brooksville, where she impacted the lives of many in her practice. She loved helping others get through their struggles in life with a positive outcome. She loved spending time with family, reading, traveling, and most of all riding her Harley with her many friends. Trish also enjoyed spending time at the ocean, lakes, and ponds appreciating the quiet and beauty surrounding her.
She was predeceased by her father, Lewis Drew in 1977, and her sister, Randy Drew in April, 2012.
She is survived by her mother, Theresa Drew of Brooksville, FL; sister, Eileen Burnor and her husband ,Gary of Derby, VT; aunts; uncles; 3 nieces; 2 great nieces; 1 great nephew; cousins; one special second cousin' her cat "Smokey" and many friends.
She will be missed beyond measure by so many.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 11th, 12:00 - 2:00 PM with a service at 2:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Chapel with Rev. Eileen Burnor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to "Toys for Tots" by contacting the Marine Corps League in Brooksville, FL.
