Paul Logan Meadows, Jr., 86, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Logan Meadows, Sr. and Pearl Hudgins Meadows. Paul was an auto mechanic at Fort Lee with forty years service, a U.S. Army and Marine Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, a member of the VFW Post 637, treasurer of the Hopewell Meals on Wheels and a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Ruth H. Meadows, a son, Fred Logan Meadows, a daughter, Hilda B. Hope, a grandson, Thomas Mark Hope, three sister, Mildred Edwards, Jean Janosik and Ruth England and an uncle, Roger Meadows. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2011 in Bermuda Memorial Park with Rev. Jeff Raymond officiating.
