My Dearest Mom,
My heart is heavy because 2 years ago today you left this place to be with the loved ones who were waiting in Heaven for you. I have relived the last three days your were here over and over in my mind this week. I still can not believe you are not with us. I still expect to see you when I get home sometimes. I know you waited a long time to be with Russell, so I am glad you are now with him. It is just hard on us who were left in this world because we had to tell you goodbye. I think of you all the time and I have such wonderful memories of you. I have been working out in the yard trying to keep it as neat as possible for you and I keep all your little hummingbirds fed because they meant so much to you. It really has gotten no easier losing you, but it is something that we have to deal with. I spent the night and the morning in your room, thinking of you. I love you so much Mom and I miss you more and more. Know that we love you and we are very grateful for all that you did for us. I realize now how hard that was on you. I am sorry that I could not do more for you. THANKS FOR BEING THERE ALWAYS AND FOR BEING MY MOM!

Happy Mother's Day to you Mom. Just want you to know how much harder life is without you in it here. I know you are where you want to be and are happy. But it will forever leave a big Void in my life here with out you.

The end of the year is looming around the corner and will be holiday season again. We will all gather again and share wonderful memories of you. Mom it’s been a year since God took you away
But you are in our thoughts each and every day.
It’s hard to believe that a year has past
Since we saw your smiling face last
Our hearts are still aching from missing you so
We still ask the question, “Why did you have to go?”

I remember all the wonderful times we always had
Although they were great it still makes me sad
For I know you are not around to make anymore
I won’t see you on the porch or when I walk through the door.
I won’t see you sitting in your chair, reading or writing things down
But I know in my heart that you are still around.

You may have been small, but you did it all
And to each of us kids, you were ten feet tall.
Your feet were little, you shoes a size two,
But there was nothing that you couldn’t do.

You raised five kids, all on your own
You struggled so hard to give us a home.
You worked two jobs, cleaning houses each day
Don’t know how you did it and for such little pay.

We face each day, it’s what we must do,
But it is so much harder now without you.
We hustle and we bustle to get things done,
But without you around it isn’t as much fun.

Although are hearts are sad and our eyes filled with tears,
We are so thankful to have you for so many years.
For all of the memories that we have now of you
And for all of the many things you taught us to do.
You taught us to love and to treat each other right
And always keep the bonds of our family tight.

Our lives go on, for I know that they must
But it’s so hard not having you here with us.
Some days are hard and I want to sit down and cry
But I hear you telling me not to quit, just give it a try.
So I get on with my days, wondering what I would do,
If you hadn’t been there all those years, pulling me through.

I get up some mornings, still expecting you here
Then I realize you're gone, my eyes start to tear.
I miss seeing your smile, that always started my day,
And your cheery “Goodmorning” that you'd always say.

You worked so hard in the yard for so many hours
Planting and pulling and weeding your flowers.
My days are filled with memories of you
Everywhere I go and in everything I do
As I walk the yard I can still see you there
Giving all your flowers your ever loving care.
When I sit in your room every once in awhile at night
I can feel you with me, but you are just not in sight.
But I know you are there so close yet so far
And I love you and miss you wherever you are.

You are not here in body, but in spirit you are
And I know when I need you, you’re never too far
You’ve helped us out, even after you’ve been gone
Giving each of us that push we need to move on

Mom know that we miss you, but we're doing okay,
What we wouldn't give to have you one more day,
But i know that we will just have to wait
Until we meet you one day at heaven's gate.

I love you so very much Mom and I miss you more than anyone could ever know. Thank you for calling still. I so look forward to hearing the phone jingle so I can answer it and tell you how much I love you. You are forever in our hearts and forever in our thoughts.

I can't seem to get my thoughts and mind wrapped around you not here to talk to like we use to do. We were so concerned

I can't seem to get my thoughts and mind wrapped around you not here to talk to like we use to do. We were so concerned about you and now we all know you are happy ,but a part of me is not and never will be. Miss having coffee with you and visiting and being in the yard with you looking at the plants and listening to you tell me all about them. you were my rock and I will always love you and always wish you were still here. Couldn't be there this year with the family as they gathered on your 1st anniversary of your leaving but my heart and soul are there as always. I LOVE YOU MOM SO VERY MUCH.
I know you are happy and don't need to think about us or what you left behind. but rest assure we are always thinking of you and talking about you. In all situations of what Mom would say or what Mom would do.
Even though it is hard for me I still would want you to be healthy and happy no matter what I felt.
Thank you for the SIGNS you give at the house that you are still with us too.

It really isn't too happy because you are no longer with us here physically. We only have memories of you to help us to get through the day. I sit at the computer and look at your pictures and think of all the wonderful times we shared with you and how much fun we had when you were here. I keep hoping that I am just dreaming and when I wake up you will be here with us again. I wonder if I did enough for you while you were here and I think of all that I could have done to make things better for you and wished I would have done things different. I feel good knowing you were here these past few years, in our home and that I was able to be with you all these years. I also wonder if I told you how much you meant to me and how much I loved you, I know I told you, but did I tell you enough? I think about those last few days you were here and some of it is hard to remember because so much was happening, but I don't think I spent enough time with you towards the end. Did you know how much I appreciated all that you did for me? Do you know how grateful I am for having such a wonderful mother as you? I love you Mom and not a moment of the day goes by that you are not on my mind. I still get your calls and I am so thankful that you told me to leave the phone plugged in because you would call. I make sure I answer it and I tell you about the day and your flowers. I love you so very very much. These last couple weeks I drive to work and I see all the dogwoods and azaleas blooming and I start to tear up because it is so sad that you are not here with us to see them blooming, I know how much you loved to see the dogwoods bloom and the azaleas. The last drive you and I took together, other than the doctors visit, was when I took

Today marks the 8th month since you passed away. These last couple weeks I drive to work and I see all the dogwoods and azaleas blooming and I start to tear up because it is so sad that you are not here with us to see them blooming, I know how much you loved to see the dogwoods bloom and the azaleas. The last drive you and I took together, other than the doctors visit, was when I took you out to see all the blooms on the dogwoods and azaleas. I pulled into work Wednesday and I could not hold the tears back. That was the last place we had drove though before you started feeling poorly and we headed to Joan's. I miss you not being here. All your daffodils and tulips bloomed out so beautiful this year. I brought most of them to you and put them in your vase. I have been trying to keep fresh flowers from your yard in your vase. I took azaleas today. Next will be irises and snowballs. I have been working on the weeds in the flowers gardens. I am behind, but they still are not bad. Everyone is gathering here for Easter and I have already told the kids that we will all take a walk and tour the yard, just as you would have done, in your honor. I love you Mom and I miss you so much. My heart aches so bad at times because you are not here. Know I think of you every single day and have so many memories. Thank you for giving me such great and many memories of you. I love you Mom.

Well today was a very sad day for me. We laid you to rest 7 months ago. I do miss you so much. You were my mentor, best friend, counselor, financial adviser, but most of all you were the best Mom in all the world. I take walks around the yard and I can still picture you in the flower beds pulling weeds. I miss our walks around the yard. It just isn't the same without you. I

Well today was a very sad day for me. We laid you to rest 7 months ago. I do miss you so much. You were my mentor, best friend, counselor, financial adviser, but most of all you were the best Mom in all the world. I take walks around the yard and I can still picture you in the flower beds pulling weeds. I miss our walks around the yard. It just isn't the same without you. I do make mental notes of all that is blooming, so I can report it to you. I am trying to keep the yard up as best I can. I have admitted defeat to the dandelions though. I pulled 3100 and today there are at least 4000 left and more coming, I am sure. Will take a different tactic later. I see you in every flower that is blooming and so many flowers are doing well now because of you. I know you are putting your special touch on them. Just as Rachael said, I miss not having you here to talk to. I miss not seeing you on the porch when I come home and I miss our special times together that we had before anyone came home from work. Mom, you are missed so very much and you are loved even more. I have been taking pictures of the flowers as they bloom and then I cut them and take you a bouquet, so you will have flowers from your yard all season. I want you to be able to enjoy them also.

I know it has been 7 months since you left us. But i think it is truly hitting me now. I think i just tried to deny it, i didnt want to believe that you were really gone and not coming back. For some reason it took this long for it to finally settle with me, and i absolutely hate it. I know its selfish, because i know you are with grandaddy again, but i just want you back. I just want to be able to hear your voice saying "good morning", to see you sitting on the porch when i get home from work and asking me how my day was. I miss seeing you working in your flower beds. I think that may be why it is finally hitting me now. Because "spring has sprung", your favorite time of the year. When all of your flowers begin blooming again. I miss you dearly memaw, you were always my best friend. I Love you so very much, i always have and always will. Enjoy watching your flowers from Heaven.

I miss you so much. I have found myself crying so much more lately thinking about you. I wish you were still here with me. I miss being able to just sit and talk to you about my day. You were always there for me no matter what. You were always the one that i could talk to about anything. You never judged, you just listened and helped me through it. Sometimes things get so hard, and i cant bare dealing with it. I just think about you and wish you were here. Because you always helped get me through. Thank you for everything you did for me. I love you so much, and i know you are still here with me always. I just wish i could hear you call me your "Little One" one more time. I wish I could see your smile and hear your laugh. I wish i could just hug and kiss you and tell you how much i love you one more time. Hopefully one day we will be together again, and i could have all those things. I love you and miss you everyday.
