Raymond Pete Owen

Gloucester: Raymond Patrick "Pete" Owen, 65, died December 15, 2011 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Pete was retired from the U S Army after 25 years of service to his country. He was a Master Sergeant, serving in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm receiving numerous medals including the Purple Heart. In the eyes of his wife, he was and always will be her hero.

Graveside funeral service with military honors will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, Virginia. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
