Richard "Googas" Marr, 92, of Sandston, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Virginia Marr. He is survived by his children, Richard L. Bowery (Daisy), Richard L. Marr, Jr. (Jackie), and James Thomas Marr; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mr. Marr was an Antique Reproduction Furniture Maker and a US WWII Veteran. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA., where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Interment following at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
