Richard John Kospelich, Sr. age 67, passed away on Tuesday, February, 12, 2013. He was a loving and devoted husband and best friend of 47 years to Patricia Kuhn Kospelich. He was preceded in death by his parents George Kospelich, Sr. and Rosemary Branigan Kospelich. Amazing father to Richard Kospelich, Jr. (Danielle), Michelle Palazzotto and Michael Kospelich, Sr. The most heart giving grandfather to 8 grandchildren, Matthew Palazzotto, Christopher Kospelich, Joshua Palazzotto, Jessica Kospelich, Kristina Kospelich, Kaitlyn Kospelich, Michael Kospelich, Jr. and Madison Kospelich. A loving brother to George Kospelich, Jr. , (Cindy), Russell Kospelich, Rod Kospelich (Marilyn), and sister Rosemary McQueen and a host of nieces and nephews. He retired from Pellerin Milnor Corp. after 44 years. He also was a past president of St. Catherine of Siena's Men's Club and a parishioner of St. Catherine's Parish.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time. To view and sign the family guest book please visit
