Robert Drescott Swift, 76, of Williamsburg, passed away on December 8, 2012. Robert, also known as "Captain Bob" and "Swifty", served with the U.S. Marines before working as a quality control inspector for Owens Brockway in Toano. Although his favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren, he also loved old westerns, reading and vacationing at Disney World.

He will be missed by his wife, Kathryn Swift; son, Robert C. Swift (Michelle); daughters, Ruthann Johnson (Brian) and Carrie Morgan (Greg); and grandchildren, Garrett Morgan, Jessi Swift, Emily Morgan, and Luke Swift.
